Once you unhitch, the front of a fifth wheel can rock side to side or front to back when people move around inside. This Ultra-Fab Economy Tripod Stabilizer keeps it steady by supporting up to 5,000 lbs right at the king pin. The threaded hitch cup makes height adjustment quick—turn counterclockwise to raise or clockwise to lower until it’s snug. Holes in the cup let you add a padlock for extra peace of mind when parked.
Not every site is level, and not every trailer sits at the same height. This tripod adjusts from 31" to 54" tall so it can meet your setup wherever you park. The large 5"-wide by 5-1/2"-long footplates help keep it from sinking or tilting on soft ground. If you ever need more reach, extension legs (part # UF19-950002) are sold separately and add up to 8" of extra height.
When it’s time to move on, this stabilizer folds up so you can stash it in a storage bay or truck bed without eating up space. The heavy-duty steel construction gives it lasting strength while keeping weight manageable—just 29 lbs total—so one person can set it up or put it away without hassle.

First, congrats on the Gooseneck trailer! Ultra-Fab makes a gooseneck tri pod stabilizer part # UF19-950450. What I found is that you do not have to buy a whole new stabilizer. You can buy part # UF19-001057, which is the ball portion of the stabilizer, and convert the king pin tri pod over to a gooseneck tri pod.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately the padlock does not come with the Ultra-Fab Economy 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer any longer. If you would like to purchase a padlock at the hardware store the holes are 1 apart so you would need padlock that is 1 wide.
